First and for most, here are some updates about what is up and happening about ODAC.1) I am still negotiating terms with Mrs Rosaline Tan about the opening of ODAC. Currently, the last thing that needs to be confirmed is whether we will gain back control of ODAC store. The following details have been confirmed:- If ODAC would to recruit J1s they will basically be a group of ODACians who focus on outdoor skills and organising Outdoor activities for the school.
- They will not engage in any form of training.
- They will not be doing adminstrative work like getting participants for any particular activity.
In any case if any of the above is not satisfied, we will not recruit and J1s.
2) The second point of concern is the upcoming CCA Bazaar.
Basically, once the above is confirmed, we will start recruiting during CCA Bazaar.
CCA Bazaar will also be our platform to get participants our upcoming activity: Rediscover Punggol.
We can also promote about Night Cycling which is still under planning.
Basically I need a team now to begin planning of CCA Bazaar. For this, Ya Ying will be in-charged of this event.
3) Rediscover Punggol
It has been confirmed that Rediscover Punggol will be held on the 1st of March 2008
Basically the upcoming training on Wednesday, only those who are involved will be required to turn up for the recce. However, we need to first get all of you to learn the following knots. Take a look at the following websites and start learning the knots for river crossing.

In total there are only 4 knots to be learnt. (2 are repeated)
4) Recce this Wednesday.
Basically, we will focus on practicing how to tie the knots onto the trees and the broken bridge. We will tour around the zoo 2-3 times.
5) Kayaking
We will be going kayaking course under the school.
People from Bai Yun Gang, all of you still stand a chance to participate in kayaking. Just submit your names to Priscilla.
The session will be held during term 2, for 2 weekends for 1 star and 3 weekends for 2 star.
*For people who are not involved in Rediscover Punggol and Night cycling, I strongly urge the few of you to get yourself involved with CCA Bazaar.

Mr Lawrence took part in the Sahara Desert Run in July 2009.
The motto of ODAC is
