hereAlso, there is an upcoming compeition, Urban H!gh by Border X. Details are as follow:
It is a rock climbing competition at Orchard Central (the new indoor rock wall) held on 7 - 20 December 2009.
5 - 18 December: Heats
19 December: Semi-Finals
20 December: Finals
Form teams of 6, with at least 2 females per team.
Entry Fee: 250$ per team (but the prize is 3000$!)

hey all! ADJAM is here again! and this time round, its proudly organised by NTU ODAC! XD
"Adventure Jamboree 2009 is an annual outdoor activities event jointly organized by the outdoor adventure clubs of the 4 local universities.
It aims to promote and showcase outdoor activities to all the Junior Colleges ODACs in Singapore. On top of that, it is guaranteed to be filled with lots of fun & laughter, friendships and first-time experiences. Eager to try activities you have never tried before? Want to know more friends? Then join us this December at Adventure Jamboree 2009!"

Venue: Assemble outside ODAC store and then proceed to classroom after attendance taking
Time: 1530 to at most 1800
Attire: School Uniform
*Everybody will be allocated into 1 of the planning committees for the different major events we are going to plan for the few upcoming trainings after promos. Please look through these few events and decide which you would want to take part in to facilitate a smooth meeting tomorrow. The events are: 1.Pulau Ubin Camp 2.Overseas Trip(location undecided)3.First Aid Revision 4.Camp craft Revision
There are still around 10+ slots for the high elements feature so interested parties please contact kerk.

NANYANG ODAC
NY ODAC was established in 1978 and was formerly known as OAC.
Back then, the motto of OAC was
"The experience is YOURS" and the club was mainly divided into two segments, Land OAC and Water OAC.
As the name suggests, Land OAC did activities like mountain scaling and hikes while water OAC did activities like kayaking expeditions.
In addition, our marine group, namely Blue Whale, Dolphin, Marlin and Stingray was initiated in the early years of OAC.
Two of our current teachers, Mr Gilbert Tay and Mrs Koh were once from OAC years ago. Mr Tay is now teaching Physics and Mrs Koh is now the HOD of PE in NYJC.
When Mrs Koh came teaching in NYJC, she took over and became the teacher in charge of OAC, until our Mr Ong took over in 2002 (24th OAC batch) till now (5th ODAC batch).
When Mr Ong took over, OAC has since known as ODAC and hence the 1st ODAC batch, with a strength of about 20, came under the care of Mr Ong. The 1st ODAC batch is also known as the 25th OAC batch.
Also, we are no longer divided as Land and Water. However, the tradition of the 4 marine groups still exists in the 5th ODAC batch and ODAC is divided into these 4 groups.
The motto of ODAC is then
"Challenge your limits". This motto means as NY ODACians, we strive to explore and push our limits, be it physically or mentally, especially in the outdoors.
In addition, NY ODACians lived with an adventurous spirit and by outdoor values.

In 2006, Ms Seah joined us and assists Mr Ong in running the club, both stepping down in 2007.
NY ODAC has participated in competitions such as the annual Vertical Marathon, Adventure Trail Challenge and Adventure Race Singapore.
ODAC also do several activities like the Outdoor Training Camps, Night Cycling and De Urbanised Traverse.
